CLUSTERING THE CABINET MEMBERS INTO THREE SMALLER GROUPS AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

In line with the President’s directive to provide a scheme by which she can regularly consult with her Secretaries outside the regular Cabinet meetings, the present Cabinet is hereby clustered into three groups as follows:

GROUP A

1. Secretary Solita Monsod (NEDA)

2. Secretary Jaime V. Ongpin (DOF)

3. Secretary Jose Concepcion, Jr. (DTI)

4. Secretary Vicente Jayme (DPWH)

5. Secretary Rainerio O. Reyes (DOTC)

6. Secretary Jose Antonio Gonzalez (DOT)

7. Secretary Guillermo Carague (DBM)

GROUP B

1. Vice President Salvador H. Laurel (DFA)

2. Secretary Sedfrey A. Ordoņez (DOJ)

3. Secretary Jaime Ferrer (DLG)

4. Secretary Ramon Diaz (PCGG)

5. Secretary Rafael Ileto (DND)

6. Secretary Emanuel Soriano (NSC Director)

7. Secretary Antonio Arizabal (NSTA)

GROUP C

1. Secretary Lourdes Quisumbing (DECS)

2. Secretary Mita Pardo de Tavera (DSWD)

3. Secretary Alfredo Bengzon (DOH)

4. Secretary Franklin Drilon (DOLE)

5. Secretary Carlos G. Dominguez (DA)

6. Secretary Fulgencio Factoran, Jr. (DNR)

7. Secretary (DAR)

Each group will regularly meet, once a month with the President on a less formal atmosphere to foster closer rapport and improve communication lines between the President and her Secretaries as well as among the Cabinet Members themselves.

For this purpose, the Executive Secretary, Press Secretary Teodoro Benigno, Secretary Teodoro Locsin, Jr., Atty. Flerida Romero, and Cabinet Secretary Jose P. de Jesus may attend all meetings of the Groups with the President.1aшphi1

The schedule of meetings will be announced later.

This Memorandum Order shall take effect immediately.
