MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Order No. 75-F, March 26, 1987 ] GRANTING SALARY INCREASES FOR POSITIONS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (DOST) AND ITS ATTACHED AGENCIES The increase in salaries of Career Executive Service positions in DOST and its agencies by five (5%) percent and the salaries of the rank and file positions in the same office by thirty (30%) percent is hereby authorized, subject to the following conditions: 1. The use of savings realized from allotments for personal services cost to fund the salary adjustment; 2. Notwithstanding the percentage increase on the authorized salary adjustment, a 5% or one-step difference between superior and subordinate positions in the hierarchical levels established shall be observed; 3. The DOST and its agencies shall submit to the Compensation and Position Classification Bureau of the Department of Budget and Management the corresponding plantilla of personnel embodying the salary adjustment for checking, without prejudice to the refund of any excess payments made to the employee concerned; 4. The above salary adjustment shall be in lieu of all allowances and other emoluments not enjoyed by officials and employees under the OP Pay Plan; 5. The salary increase herein recommended shall be effective January 1, 1987.1aшphi1 The Secretary of Budget and Management shall issue the necessary rules and regulations to implement this Memorandum Order.
