[ Memorandum Order No. 73, February 28, 1987 ]

EXTENDING THE LIFE OF THE AD HOC SPECIAL COMMITTEE CREATED UNDER EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 48 DATED OCTOBER 15, 1986.

The Ad Hoc Special Committee created under Executive Order No. 48 dated October 15, 1986 is hereby authorized to continue with its work, specifically the following:

a) Oversee the printing of the records and journals of the Constitutional Commission;

b) Liquidate and wind-up the affairs of the Constitutional Commission; and

c) Render opinions on queries regarding issues relative to the 1986 Constitution, more particularly, with respect to the intention of the framers.

The amount not exceeding TWO MILLION PESOS (P2,000,000) shall be made available by the Department of Budget and Management, chargeable against the Compensation and Organizational Adjustment Fund under Executive Order No. 87, to be released in accordance with a Special Budget approved for the purpose.

The Ad Hoc Special Committee shall be functus officio on June 30, 1987 or at an earlier date, upon the completion of the above functions.1aшphi1

This Memorandum Order shall take effect immediately.
