There is hereby created a National Committee to take charge of the arrangements connected with the State visit of President Virgilio Barco Vargas of Colombia:

The Committee shall be responsible for the planning, coordination, and smooth execution of all arrangements to be made in connection with the State visit.1aшphi1
The Committee is authorized to call upon any department, bureau, office, agency or any instrumentality of the government, including government-owned and controlled corporations, for such assistance as it may need in discharging its duties and functions. The Committee is likewise authorized to create sub-committees as necessary.
