[ Memorandum Order No. 6, April 8, 1986 ]

PLACING CERTAIN AGENCIES OF THE GOVERNMENT UNDER THE ADMINISTRATIVE SUPERVISION OF THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH.

WHEREAS, there is a need to place certain agencies of the government heretofore operating independently and/or falling under various ministries, under one Ministry for purposes of effective supervision and formulation of policies, plans and programs; and

WHEREAS, it is most desirable to continuously improve the administrative and functional relationship among agencies to remain responsive to the needs of the service.1aшphi1

IN VIEW THEREOF, the following agencies of the government are hereby placed under the administrative supervision of the Ministry of Health:

1. Philippine Heart Center for Asia

2. Lung Center of the Philippines

3. Lungsod ng Kabataan

4. National Kidney Foundation

5. Tondo General Hospital

6. Quezon Institute

7. Health Operations of the Metro Manila Commission

8. Philippine Medical Care Commission

This Memorandum Order shall take effect immediately.
