MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Order No. 40, September 26, 1986 ] MODIFYING MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 26 DATED JULY 31, 1986, EXEMPTING THE MEMBERS OF THE SUPREME COURT FROM THE PROVISIONS OF EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 6. Memorandum Order No. 26 is hereby modified to the extent that the Chief Justice and Associate Justices of the Supreme Court are hereby exempted from the guidelines contained in Executive Order No. 129, series of 1968, as amended, and the Cabinet Resolution dated June 11, 1986 relative to the rate of allowance for government officials traveling abroad. The Supreme Court shall promulgate its guidelines on the rate of travel allowance for its members and that of the lower courts and their respective employees.1aшphi1 This Memorandum Order takes effect immediately.
