MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Order No. 39, September 24, 1986 ] MODIFYING MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 27 DATED AUGUST 7, 1986 CREATING AN INDEPENDENT OFFICE OF POLITICAL AFFAIRS. Memorandum Order No. 27 dated August 27, 1986 as modified by Memorandum Order No. 33 dated September 3, 1986 creating one (1) position for Deputy Minister is hereby further modified to include the functions of the Office as follows: 1. Assist the President, the Executive Secretary and the Cabinet in the formulation of political decisions.1aшphi1 2. Gather, evaluate and analyze political information and/or data in the furtherance of its functions. 3. Perform such other functions as may be assigned to it by the President from time to time. In the performance of the foregoing duties and functions, the Minister of Political Affairs shall be assisted by two (2) Deputy Ministers. This Memorandum Order takes effect immediately.
