CREATING AN AD HOC COMMITTEE TO OVERSEE THE WINDING-UP OF THE AFFAIRS OF THE OFFICE OF THE PRIME MINISTER AND DETERMINE THE DISPOSITION OF ITS PERSONNEL

WHEREAS, the Office of the Prime Minister was abolished by Section 3 of Article I of the Freedom Constitution adopted under Proclamation No. 3 dated March 25, 1986;

WHEREAS, it is imperative that the aforesaid abolition be given full efficacy;

ACCORDINGLY, an “Ad Hoc Committee” is hereby created to oversee the winding-up of the affairs of the Office of the Prime Minister and determine the disposition of its personnel.

The “Ad Hoc Committee” shall be composed of the following:

Duly authorized official of the Office of the President Chairman
Duly authorized official of the Office of the Vice-President Member
Minister of the Budget or his duly authorized representative Member
Chairman of the Commission on Audit or his duly authorized representative Member

The budget of the Office of the Prime Minister will be good only up to July 31, 1986.1aшphi1

The Ad Hoc Committee shall enlist the assistance of necessary personnel, preferably from the present employees of the Office of the Prime Minister.

This Order shall take effect immediately.
