MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Order No. 811, August 22, 1984 ] DESIGNATING THE AFP REGIONAL UNIFIED COMMANDERS AS DEPUTY PRESIDENTIAL REGIONAL MONITORING OFFICERS (PREMOS) AND OFFICERS-IN-CHARGE OF THE PRESIDENTIAL REGIONAL MONITORING OFFICE IN APPLICABLE CASES AND APPOINTING PREMOs IN CERTAIN REGIONS. In line with Executive Order No. 819, series of 1982, the Commanding Officers of the different Regional Unified Commands, Armed Forces of the Philippines, are hereby designated as Deputy Presidential Regional Monitoring Officers in their respective regions. In regions where no Presidential Regional Monitoring Officer (PREMO) has been appointed the Deputy PREMO shall act as Officer-in-Charge and shall, discharge the functions, duties and responsibilities of the PREMO. In this connection, the Chairman, of the Lupong Tagapagpaganap Ng Pook in Regions IX and XII are hereby designated as PREMO in their respective regions while the appointments of Hon. Imelda R. Marcos and Hon. Roberto S. Benedicto as PREMOs for the National Capital Region and Region VI, respectively, continue to be in force. Their duties, functions and system of operations shall be governed by the pertinent guidelines contained in the Presidential Regional Monitoring Office Operations Manual prepared by the Presidential Management Staff, Office of the President. All provisions of Memorandum Order No. 777, series of 1982, and similar orders, rules and regulations contrary to or in conflict with the provisions of this Memorandum Order are hereby modified or repealed accordingly.1aшphi1 This order shall take effect immediately.
