MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Order No. 763, November 29, 1982 ] In view of reports reaching the Office of the President that many line agencies have failed to coordinate with local government units in the planning and implementation of government; programs and projects, heads of line agencies at the regional, provincial, district, and municipal levels are hereby directed to regularly furnish the governors and mayors listings of all programs and projects which, are scheduled to be implemented or are being undertaken in the latter’s respective areas of responsibility. The listings shall be accompanied by detailed programs of work. All governors and mayors are directed to submit to the Office of the President, through the Presidential Management Staff, the names of all agencies which fail to comply with this Order.1aшphi1 Compliance is necessary to enable local executives to monitor government projects accurately and effectively in their areas.
