CREATING A COMMITTEE TO STUDY THE PROPOSED LOCAL GOVERNMENT CODE.
There is hereby created a Committee to study the attached draft of “the proposed Local Government Code to be composed of the following:

In view of the far-reaching importance of the proposed Code in relation to the political, social and economic objectives of our country and the implications it may have on the Office of the President, the Committee is hereby directed to undertake a thorough study of the provisions thereof and to submit its comments and recommendations to the undersigned within thirty (30) days from the date hereof.1aшphi1
The Committee may call upon any Ministry, Office or Agency of the government for such assistance as it may need in the accomplishment of its task.
This Order takes effect immediately.
