ENJOINING PARTICIPATION IN THE “ON-THE-SPOT PAINTING CONTEST” AMONG CHILDREN OF MALACAÑANG EMPLOYEES
In line with the observance of International Year of the Child, Miss IRENE R. MARCOS is sponsoring an “ON-THE-SPOT PAINTING CONTEST” among the children of Malacañang employees, to arouse their interest in and develop appreciation of, arts and culture, as well as to discover those who are endowed with potentials in the field of fine arts.
The contest, tentatively scheduled on May 25, 1979, is open to children, seventeen years old and below, of officials and employees of the Office of the President (Proper). The participants will be Grouped into three (3) Divisions according to age levels as fellows:
A. – 9 years old and below.
B. – Prom 10 to 13 years old.
C. – Prom 14 to 17 years old.
Miss Marcos will award cash prizes to the winners in each of the divisions.
The Presidential Museum under Prof. Tomas T. Bernardo shall assist Miss Marcos in this project, and will take charge of the preparations, coordination and supervision of the contest. Additional information regarding the contest, including the rules, may be secured therefrom.
In view of the laudable purpose of this project, all officials and employees of this Office are enjoined to encourage their qualified children to participate in the contest.1aшphi1
The names and ages of those who wish to participate should be submitted to the Personnel Division, Administrative Office, not later than May 21, 1979.
