AUTHORIZING THE HOLDING OF A CRASH PROGRAM IN MASTER IN PUBLIC AND BUSINESS MANAGEMENT IN THIS OFFICE PURSUANT TO MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 1074, DATED AUGUST 11, 1978.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 1074, series of 1978, the holding in this Office of a crash Program in Master in Business and Public Management under the auspices of La Salle University, in collaboration with the University of the Philippines and the Civil Service Commission, is hereby authorized. Those who meet the following qualifications and requirements may apply:

1. Graduate of a four-year baccalaureate degree course or its equivalent.

2. Holder of a responsible supervisory position with at least 5 years supervisory experience.

3. At least 27 years old.

4. Above average academic performance.

5. Excellent physical and mental condition.

6. Recommended by his immediate supervisor and head of office/unit as to potential managerial capability.

Final selection will be made by a panel of interviewers from La Salle University, University of the Philippines, Civil Service Commission and Office of the President.

The course will be conducted for a period of one and a half (1-1/2) years, at least eight (8) hours per week, for a fee of three thousand pesos (P3,000.00) per participant, the amount to be advanced by this Office for participants from the Office of the President/Prime Minister proper and by their respective offices for participants from agencies under this Office. The fee advanced may be deducted later through monthly deductions from the salary of the participant. However, participant who continually maintains high scholastic record shall not be required to refund the money advanced by the agency as a form of recognition for his exemplary academic performance,

Two (2) classes will be scheduled simultaneously, one on weekdays, at least two meetings a week, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. and another, on Saturdays, from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 noon and from 1:00 to 5:00 P.M.

All heads of offices/primary units and agencies under this Office may send their respective nominations for this Program to the Training Staff, Administrative Office, on or before August 31, 1978. Attached are copies of application forms for admission.1aшphi1
