MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Order No. 623, August 12, 1978 ] AMENDING MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 620 DATED JUNE 30, 1978 WHICH AUTHORIZES THE ATTENDANCE AND PARTICIPATION ON OFFICIAL TIME OF OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES OF AGENCIES UNDER THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT IN THE SPORTS ACTIVITIES OF THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT ATHLETIC LEAGUE (OPAL). Memorandum Order No. 620 dated June 50, 1978 which authorizes the attendances and participation on official time of officials and employees of agencies under the Office of the President in the sports activities of the Office of the President Athletic League (OPAL) is hereby amended so as to include the members or representatives of the OPAL Board of Trustees, Executive Committee, Tournament Committee and Secretariat as among those entitled to ordinary transportation expenses and reasonable allowances not exceeding P20.00 per day of actual attendance in the sports events or activities of OPAL.1aшphi1 Participating athletes and players, including their managers, coaches and trainers, are also hereby authorized to collect the same rate of allowances for every required practice day before or within the tournament period, but not to exceed one-half of the total number of official playing days of the tournament, chargeable against the funds of their respective agencies, subject to the availability thereof and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.
