CREATING A STEERING COMMITTEE TO PREPARE FOR THE HOLDING OF THE SOUTHEAST ASIAN SUMMER INSTITUTE IN MATHEMATICS.
There is hereby created a Joint Steering Committee which shall supervise the preparations for and the holding of the Southeast Asian Summer Institute of Mathematics to be held this year. The Committee shall be composed of the following:

The duties and functions of the Joint Steering Committee herein organized shall be as follows:
1. To supervise the necessary planning for the holding of the Southeast Asian Summer Institute of Mathematics.
2. To direct and supervise the activities of government agencies and private sector entities involved in the preparation for the holding of the Summer Institute.
3. To delineate, and supervise the logistical and staff requirements in connection with the holding of the Summer Institute.1aшphi1
4. To assume and undertake such other duties and functions as may be necessary to ensure the successful Holding of the Summer Institute.
All agencies of the government, including government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby enjoined to provide the Joint Steering Committee with such administrative and technical support, information and services as it may require for the proper execution of its assigned tasks.
This Order shall take effect immediately.
