[ MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 450, August 13, 1974 ]
AMENDING MEMORANDUM ORDER NOS. 411 AND 426 SERIES OF 1974, CREATING AND STRUCTURE THE INTER-AGENCY TASK FORCE FOR THE REHABILLITATION OF JOLO
Memorandum Order No. 411, dated 11 March 1974, creating the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Rehabilitation of Jolo, and Memorandum Order No. 426, dated 29 April 1974, further structuring the Jolo Inter-Agency Task Force to consist of an executive Committee, a Task Force Rear Based in Manila, and Task Force Forward in Jolo for greater efficiency and efectivity of action, are hereby amended as follows.
1. The 15-man Executive Committee which is headed by General Gaudencio V. Tobias as Chairman, shall have as additional member Dr. Onofre D. Corpus, President of the Development Academy of the Philippine sand concurrently Chairman of the Task Force on Human Settlements; and
2. The Committee on Over-all and Long-Term Planning under the Task Force Rear is hereby dissolved and, in its place, a Committee on Master Planning is hereby created to be headed and organized by Dr. Onofre D. Corpuz as Chairman.
The functions and responsibilities defined for Committee on Over-All and Long-Term Planning under Memorandum Order No. 426 shall still apply to the Committee on Master Planning which now takes its place. In addition, the Committee on Master Planning is charged with the task of recommending within one month from the date of this Memorandum Order a final Land Use Scheme which shall serve as the framework for the physical development of the town of Jolo.1aшphi1
It is understood that the various plans and programs being prepared by the various Committees within the Task Force shall conform to the basic physical designs of the Master Plan with a view toward long-term development considerations. The Committee on Master Planning shall therefore work closely with these Committees to ensure consistency of efforts and maximum use of developmental resources available.
