[ MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 373, August 24, 1973 ]

PROVIDING GUIDELINES ON REQUESTS FOR TRANSPORTATION, REPRESENTATION AND MEAL ALLOWANCES, INCLUDING LOCAL TRAVELS.

Due to the precarious state of the contingent fund allotment to the Executive Office for Fiscal Year 1974, the following guidelines are hereby issued for the information of all concerned.

(a) Additional requests for transportation and representation expenses shall not be entertained.

(b) Meal allowances shall be limited to one (1) meal a day, including Saturdays and Sundays;

(c) Memorandum Order No. 54, series of 1967, prescribing certain limitations on the payment of meal allowance for overtime services shall be strictly adhered to; and

(d) Local travels shall be limited only to those which are deemed essential and urgent.

This Order takes effect immediately.1aшphi1
