CONSTITUTING A TEAM TO EVALUATE THE PERFORMANCE OF THE NATIONAL ELECTRIFICATION ADMINISTRATION IN THE PROSECUTION OF THE PROGRAM OF TOTAL ELECTRIFICATION OF THE PHILIPPINES
Pursuant to Administrative Order No. 271, series of 1971, there is hereby constituted a team to evaluate the performance of the National Electrification Administration in-the persecution of the national objective of total electrificationof the Philippines on an area coverage basis, to be composed of the; following personnel of the Presidential Economic Staff:

The team herein constituted shall have the following functions and duties:
1. To re-evaluate the existing development program of the Administration on rural electrification;
2. To assess actual performance of the Administration in its implementation of said program;
3. To undertake, review and/or appraise relevant studies and recommendations on rural electrification and its administration;
4. To inquire into the set-up of the Administration, taking into consideration the organizational and financial constraints under which it operates, with the end in view of energising said organization in the attainment of its objectives;
5. To re-define, if necessary, the goals and object of the Administration, or develop a strategy for carrying existing and/or proposed programs more effectively; and
6. To do all things and acts which are conducive or contributory to the performance of its functions and duties hereinabove mentioned.1aшphi1
The National Electrification Administration is hereby directed to cooperate with and Assist the team in the accomplishment of its assigned tasks.
The Team, shall submit its report to the Development Management Staff, Executive Office within forty-five days from date hereof, for transmittal to the President.
