MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Order No. 161-a, January 12, 1970 ] INCORPORATING INTO TEE INTERNAL PERSONNEL SERVICESh UNIT THE PRESENT RECOMMENDATIONS SECTION WHICH HENCEFORTH SHALL BE KNOWN AS RECOMMENDATIONS SERVICE The present Recommendations Section is hereby incorporated into the Internal Personnel Services Unit and henceforth shall be known as Recommendations Service. Under the supervision of the Presidential Personnel Officer, its functions shall be the following; 1. To receive callers in need of assistance in their search for a job and drafts letters of recommendation for them. 2. To follow up action on recommendations made, with the end in view of obtaining positive results, if possible. 3. To keep statistics on the number of people attended to and those who succeed in landing a job on the strength of recommendations made. 4. To draft letters of acknowledgment of and draft replies to letters addressed to the President relative to requests/recommendations for employment.1aшphi1 5. To prepare and submit reports as required. 6. To draft all communications pertinent to the above functions. 7. To perform such other functions as may be assigned to it from time to time.
