MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Order No. 140, August 30, 1969 ] REQUIRING THE SUBMISSION OF CLAIMS FOR TRAVELING EXPENSES WITHIN THIRTY (30) DAYS AFTER COMPLETION OF TRIP It has been observed that a number of requests for confirmation of trips to the provinces of officials and employees in this Office are being submitted, including claims for the corresponding travel expenses therefor, long after their trips have been completed. In order to ensure effective control of the fiscal program of this Office, particularly the funds, allotted for travel, it is hereby directed that., henceforth, claims of such nature be submitted within thirty (30) days after completion of official trips. Accordingly, any request for confirmation of travels not submitted within the prescribed period above shall be denied and the expenses incurred in connection therewith disauthorized.1aшphi1 Strict compliance with this Order is enjoined.
