MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Order No. 127, May 20, 1969 ] AUTHORIZING THE HOLDING OF A REFRESHER COURSE IN “TAKIGRAPIYANG PILIPINO.” In connection with the celebration of the National Language Week, the Manila Times Publishing Company will sponsor a contest in “Takigrapiyang Pilipino,” one effective way of propagating the use of Pilipino, especially in government offices. The elimination and final portions of the contest will be held at the Philippine College of Commerce, Lepanto, Sampaloc, on July 27 and August 17, 1969, respectively. The Institute of National Language, in cooperation with the Philippine College of Commerce, proposes to conduct a refresher course in “Takigrapiyang Pilipino” from May 12 to June 13, 1969, at the Budget Commission Auditorium, to enable the employees, concerned to prepare for the contest. The holding of the seminar is therefore hereby authorized and those from this Office, the Budget Commission, and the Presidential Assistant on Reforms and Government Operations (PARGO) who attended the seminar in “Takigrapiyang Pilipino” previously field in this Office are enjoined to attend the refresher course and participate in the contest.
