MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Order No. 76, March 25, 1964 ] ENJOINING STRICT COMPLIANCE WITH THE ORDER REQUIRING LADY EMPLOYEES TO BE IN UNIFORM DURING ATTENDANCE IN OFFICE. Memorandum Order No. 27 dated April 24, 1963 requiring lady employees in the Office of the President to be in uniform during attendance in office is hereby amended so as to remove the exemption therein provided in favor of those who are in mourning. Accordingly, all lady employees of this Office shall, without exception, be in the prescribed uniform during their attendance in office. Strict compliance with the provisions of said Order as thus amended is hereby enjoined. For this purpose, the chiefs of divisions and service units are hereby required to see to it that all lady employees in their respective divisions or units are in uniform. Those found not in uniform shall be sent home immediately to change into the required attire, without prejudice to such administrative action as may be taken against them for the violation, which shall also be reflected in their efficiency record. The chief of divisions and service units shall be equally responsible in case of violation of the Order by any of the lady employees in their respective divisions or units. With regard to newly appointed lady employees, they shall be in uniform not later than one week from the date of assumption of office.1aшphi1 Violation of the aforementioned Memorandum Order No. 27 and of this Order will be dealth with administratively.
