MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Order No. 109, December 14, 1964 ] URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE LABOR RALLY TO BE HELD AT THE RIZAL MEMORIAL STADIUM ON DECEMBER 16, 1964. The period from December 1 to 7, 1964, has been declared by the President as Isabelo de los Reyes Week in his Proclamation No. 328 dated November 24, 1964, under the auspices of the Isabelo de los Reyes Centennial Committee. This Week has been set aside to honor the late Isabelo de los Reyes who spearheaded the free labor movement in this country and other labor leaders who have contributed their share in promoting the welfare of the working class.1aшphi1 One of the highlights in the commemoration of this Week is a labor rally to be held at the Rizal Memorial Stadium on December 16, 1964 at 3:00 pm. His Excellency, the President of the Philippines, be the guest of honor and principal speaker. All heads of divisions and other primary units in this Office are hereby urged to send not less than ten employees in their respective division or unit to attend the said rally. The list of the employees in their respective division or unit concerned should be submitted to the Administrative Division not later than Tuesday, December 15th.
