MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 29, October 16, 2017 ] In view of the continuing transport strike, coupled with possible inclement weather, work in government, both national and local, and classes at all levels, both public and private, including state universities and colleges, are hereby suspended on Tuesday, 17 October 2017. The suspension of work in the other branches of government, as well as in constitutional commissions and other independent bodies, is left to the discretion of their respective heads.
