[ MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 09, October 04, 2016 ]

DIRECTING ALL GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AND INSTRUMENTALITIES, INCLUDING GOVERNMENT-OWNED OR -CONTROLLED CORPORATIONS, AND ENCOURAGING LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNITS, TO EXTEND SUPPORT TO THE 2016 FEDERATION INTERNATIONALE DE VOLLEYBALL WOMEN'S CLUB WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

WHEREAS, the Philippine Super Liga (PSL) will host the 2016 Federation Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) Women's Club World Championship (WCWC) to be held on 18 to 23 October 2016 in Metro Manila; and

WHEREAS, this will be an opportunity for the further recognition of the Philippines as a world-class venue for international sporting events.1âшphi1

NOW, THEREFORE, all national government agencies and instrumentalities, including government-owned or -controlled corporations, are hereby directed, and local government units are encouraged, to extend full support to the 2016 FIVB WCWC, subject to applicable laws, rules and regulations.

This Circular shall take effect immediately.
