[ MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 2, July 08, 2016 ]
Upon recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), and in view of the continuing inclement weather brought about by Typhoon "Butchoy," work in government offices and classes in public schools at all levels in the National Capital Region, are hereby suspended effective 1:00 PM today, 08 July 2016.
However, those agencies whose functions involve the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamaties, and/or the performance of other vital services shall continue with their operations and render the necessary services.1âшphi1
The suspension of work for private companies, offices and schools is left to the discretion of their respective head.
The Circular shall take effect immediately.
