MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 8, December 08, 2010 ] AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION IN THE 13TH NATIONAL CONVENTION OF LAWYERS OF THE INTEGRATED BAR OF THE PHILIPPINES The Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) will be holding the 13th National Convention of Lawyers on April 7, 8 and 9, 2011 at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center, Subic Bay Freeport Zone, with the theme, "IBP: Living Up to the Standards of Integrity and Competence in the Legal Profession." The IBP calls the convention every two (2) years as a forum for members to meet and discuss subjects of relevance to members of the legal profession and the nation as a whole. In this connection, all heads of government agencies, departments, bureaus and offices, including government-owned and/or controlled corporations and their subsidiaries/units shall authorize their respective lawyers to attend and participate in the 13th National Convention of Lawyers of the IBP on official time, at no cost to the government except payment of their salaries, provided such attendance will not adversely affect the functions of their respective offices, as well as, the delivery of services to the public.1âшphi1 By authority of the President: (Sgd.)
