MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Circular No. 32, November 29, 2002 ] AUTHORIZING GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE PROGRAM IN DEVELOPMENT ECONOMICS TO ATTEND ON OFFICIAL BUSINESS THE NATIONAL LECTURE ON DECEMBER 7, 2002 TO BE CONDUCTED BY THE UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS The Program in Development Economics (PDE) of the University of the Philippines School of Economics has organized a National Lecture on “The Global Environment and the Prospects for the Philippine Economy” on December 7, 2002 at the Diosdado P. Macapagal Hall, UP School of Economics Library Building. The lecture is part of the continuing education of the PDE participants, past and present, that aims to upgrade the knowledge and skills of program participants in economic analysis and policy-making.1âшphi1 In this connection, all government officials and employees who have participated in PDE of the University of the Philippines School of Economics are hereby enjoined to attend this Lecture, on official time only, at no cost to the government except payment of their salaries.
