[ Memorandum Circular No. 164, August 19, 1997 ]

In view of the continuous heavy rains and flooding of the streets, work in all government offices, including government owned and controlled corporations, are hereby suspended today effective the start of the usual reporting hours. Government agencies performing vital functions shall, however, maintain a skeletal work force to ensure delivery of services and continuity of their operations.

All services shall resume at the start of the regular working hours tomorrow, 20 August 1997.1aшphi1

This Circular shall take effect immediately.
