CREATING A SPECIAL COMMITTEE TO SCREEN NOMINEES TO THE CAGAYAN SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE AND FREEPORT
There is hereby created a Selection Committee to screen and process nominees for the Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA) to be composed of the following:

The Selection Committee shall adopt a selection process and criteria to carry out its objectives.
The Committee shall be tasked primarily to screen and process nominees for the composition of the CEZA. It shall also recommend to the President possible sources of the budget necessary for the initial operation of the Authority.1aшphi1
The Department of Trade and Industry shall serve as the Committee Secretariat. They shall provide technical and secretarial support to the Selection Committee.
The Committee is hereby given sixty 60) days to submit its recommendations to the President.
This Memorandum shall take effect immediately.
