AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE ASPAP 1994 GENERAL ASSEMBLY

The Association of Schools of Public Administration in the Philippines, Inc. and the College of Public Administration, University of the Philippines will sponsor the ASPAP 1994 Conference and General Assembly at the Balay Kalinaw, U.P. Diliman, Quezon City on March 2-3, 1994 on the theme: “Reinventing Public Administration for the Philippines 2000.” It aims to provide a different way of looking at public administration, using the new process of government which involves cooperative efforts among public, private and volunteer organizations aptly referred to as reinventing government, within the context of Philippines 2000.1aшphi1

The participation in the conference including the echo conferences which will be conducted at a later time in various regions of the country, by national and local government officials and employees invited by the sponsors is hereby authorized on official time only, provided that there will be no disruption of normal office activities/services in their respective agencies by reason thereof.1aшphi1

The participants shall submit to their respective agency heads a complete report on their attendance or participation in the convention. Likewise, the ASPAP is requested to submit to this Office and the Civil Service Commission a general report and evaluation of the conference, including a list by offices of participants from the government.
