AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE 17th ASIAN PACIFIC DENTAL CONGRESS
The Philippine Dental Association (PDA) will host the 17th Asian Pacific Dental Congress to be held at the Philippine International Convention Center on February 3-9, 1994, on the theme: “Preventive Dentistry: The Current Priority.” It aims to provide a venue for a more expanded exposition of the latest scientific and technological advancement in the field of dentistry by internationally renowned authorities in dental specialties.
Considering the significance of this affair in promoting a more effective dental health care service program, as well as in upgrading our dentists’ professional and technological capabilities, not more than two (2) representatives each from the Department of Health, Department of Education, Culture and Sports, and other government instrumentalities, preferably members of the PDA, including their regional offices, government and special hospitals, including the Philippine General Hospital, and other agencies involved in dental public health programs, provincial, city and municipal dental health officers, as well as the officers of the various chapters of the PDA are hereby authorized to attend the Congress on official time only. The participants shall shoulder personally the registration fee and travel expenses.1aшphi1
Participants shall, within a reasonable time thereafter, echo the Conference to key personnel of their respective offices. Likewise, within thirty (30) days after the Congress, the PDA shall submit to this Office a report and evaluation of the Conference, including a list of government participants indicating their respective offices, copy furnished the Civil Service Commission.
