MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Circular No. 50, May 25, 1993 ] DIRECTING DEPARTMENTS, BUREAUS, OFFICES AND AGENCIES OF THE GOVERNMENT TO EXTEND SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE TO THE BOY SCOUTS OF THE PHILIPPINES IN THE HOLDING OF THE FIRST ASEAN JAMBOREE In order to complement the government’s efforts of fostering ASEAN regional unity and cooperation, the President has issued Memorandum dated 13 May 1993 endorsing the holding by the Boy Scouts of the Philippines of the First ASEAN Jamboree from December 28, 1993 to January 3, 1994 at Mount Makiling, Los Baños, Laguna. Accordingly, all departments, bureaus, offices and agencies of the government are hereby directed to extend their optimum support and appropriate assistance to the Boy Scouts of the Philippines in the holding of this endeavor.1aшphi1 This Memorandum Circular takes effect immediately.
