AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE CONSULTATIVE CONFERENCE ON ROAD SAFETY AND THE ROAD ENGINEERING ASSOCIATION OF THE PHILIPPINES (REAP) ANNUAL CONVENTION ON MARCH 4 AND 5, 1993, RESPECTIVELY.

The REAP and Safety Organization of the Philippines are jointly sponsoring a Consultative Conference on Road Safety on March 4, 1993, to be followed by the REAP Annual Convention on March 5, both to be held at the Occupational Safety and Health Center, Diliman, Quezon City. Ten Technical papers will be presented by experts, including the National Road Safety Plan formulated by the Inter-Agency Task Force on Road Safety.

The participation of the government sector in the convention is hereby authorized. Heads of the Departments of Public Works and Highways, Transportation and Communications, Interior and Local Government, Energy, the Metropolitan Waterworks & Sewerage System, the National Irrigation Authority, the Local Water Utilities Administration and the National Water Resources Board and other interested agencies may send a reasonable number of their officials and employees who are REAP members to attend this conference/convention on official time, provided there will be no disruption of normal office activities/services in their respective offices by reason thereof.

The participants shall submit to their respective agency heads a complete report on their attendance or participation in the conference/convention. Likewise, REAP is requested to submit to this office and the Civil Service Commission a general report and evaluation of the convention including a list by offices of participants from the government.1aшphi1
