[ Memorandum Circular No. 27, January 18, 1993 ]

DESIGNATING THE MEMBERS OF THE BIPARTISAN EXECUTIVE LEGISLATIVE ADVISORY COUNCIL ON THE SABAH ISSUE

WHEREAS, consonant with Senate Resolution No. 13 (1992) and House Resolution No. 19 (1992), Executive Order No. 46 (1993) constituted a Bipartisan Executive-Legislative Advisory Council on the Sabah Issue to serve as an advisory body to the President with respect to the Philippine claim on Sabah;

WHEREAS, the Council shall be composed of eight (8) representatives from the Executive Branch, eight (8) members of the Senate including a member of the minority party and eight (8) members of the House of Representatives including a member of the minority party;

WHEREAS, the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House have respectively transmitted to this Office the members of the Legislative Branch designated to be members of the Council;

WHEREFORE, the following representatives of the executive and legislative branches of government are hereby designated members of the Council:
