SUBJECT: REMITTANCE OF STATUTORY CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE METRO MANILA AUTHORITY

D A T E: 14 July 1992

Pursuant to our meeting yesterday where we discussed the problems of Metro Manila, specifically on the delivery of basic services such as garbage collection and disposal, traffic operations, flood control, and fire prevention and control, I hereby urge you to remit your statutory contributions and past obligations to the Metro Manila Authority within one (1) week from today.1aшphi1

This will continue to take effect until a new legislation is passed that will provide for a stronger metropolitan body which can work out better arrangements with the concerned local government units.
