AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE ON OFFICIAL TIME OF OFFICERS AND MEMBERS OF THE CAREER EXECUTIVE SERVICE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (CESDP) ALUMNI ASSOCIATION AND THE NATIONAL DEFENSE COLLEGE OF THE PHILIPPINES (NDCP) ALUMNI ASSOCIATION IN A SYMPOSIUM ON “NATIONAL CONCERNS FOR NATION-BUILDING”.

The Career Executive Service Development Program (CESDP) Alumni Association and the National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP) Alumni Association will conduct a Symposium-Workshop on the subject “National Concerns For Nation-Building” at the University of Life on July 29-30, 1982.

The Symposium-Workshop shall redefine and strengthen the role of the CESDP and NDCP alumni on the subject of indifference and apathy which impede the progress of government programs, projects and activities for nation-building and formulate a nation-wide campaign plan against-said indifference and apathy.

Officers and members of both associations who are invited to attend the said Symposium-Workshop are hereby authorized on official. time with expenses for Symposium-Workshop fee of ?300.00, transportation and per diems, chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, in accordance with the provisions of Presidential Decree No. 344 dated November 26, 1973, as implemented by COA General Circular No. 127, series of 1973, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements, as an exception to Letter of Instruction No. 1098 dated January 5, 1981. Participants residing or stationed within the Metro Manila Area shall be entitled to symposium fees only.

The participants shall submit to their respective office heads a complete report on their attendance or participation in the symposium-workshop as prescribed under Memorandum Circular No. 987 dated June 10, 1977.1aшphi1 Likewise, the organizer shall submit to this Office a report and evaluation of the symposium, including a list of participants indicating their respective offices.
