[ Memorandum Circular No. 1200, October 22, 1980 ]

DIRECTING STRICT OBSERVANCE OF ALL SECURITY MEASURES AFFECTING OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES WITHIN THE MALACAŅANG COMPOUND.

Effective October 23, 1980 all security officers of the Presidential Guard Battalion and other law enforcement agencies concerned shall implement strictly all existing security guidelines, instructions and measures, including those on the wearing of name plates by employees of the Office of the President, Ministry of the Budget and other offices operating within the Malacaņang Compound.

No protest or complaint on the enforcement of security measures shall be entertained by the security officers. Such protest or complaint may however be addressed to the Presidential Executive Assistant, the Senior Presidential Assistant or the Presidential Finance Assistant.

Parking within the Malacaņang Compound shall be allowed by the security officers only for vehicles owned or used by officials named in a list or lists approved by the Presidential Executive Assistant.1aшphi1 Officials whose cars may be allowed to enter the Malacaņang Compound or park therein shall not carry with them in their vehicles passengers who normally must check first, register, or identify themselves with the security guards at the pedestrian entrance near Gate 4.

Hereafter, employees of the Office of the President working within the Malacaņang Compound shall not stay in their offices or within the compound beyond 6:00 P.M. unless upon written authority of the, Presidential Executive Assistant, the Senior Presidential Assistant or the Presidential Finance Assistant.
