AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE AT THE NATIONAL SEMINAR-WORKSHOP ON VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS IN THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE PHILIPPINE GOVERNMENT CULTURAL ASSOCIATION, INC. (PGCA) IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE OBSERVANCE OF PGCA’S 9TH FOUNDATION YEAR.

The Philippine Government Cultural Association, Inc. (PGCA), with the Philippine National Bank, as co-sponsor, will hold a seminar-workshop on Visual and Performing Arts and General Assembly in conjunction with the observance of PGCA’s 9th Foundation Year on December 3-7, 1979 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Philippine National Bank Auditorium, Manila, The seminar-workshop is designed to enhance the efficiency of government personnel and promote dynamic management through the medium of sustained cultural uplifts .as envisioned by .-the Constitution and in keeping with the program of the New Society.

In view thereof, all heads of ministries, chiefs of bureaus, offices, agencies and instrumentalities of the government, including government-owned or controlled corporations and local governments, are hereby authorized to send not more than two delegates to the seminar-workshop, in addition to the two representatives (1 Regular and 1 alternate) to the PGCA. Participants shall be allowed reasonable expenses for transportation, per diems, lodging and seminar fees, chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements. It is understood that the participants residing within the greater Manila Area shall be entitled to transportation expenses and seminar fees only.

The participants shall submit to their respective agency heads a report on their attendance in the seminar-workshop within thirty (30) days after the termination thereof.1aшphi1
