URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE 10TH PHILIPPINE MANAGEMENT CONGRESS

The Philippine Council of Management (PHILCOMAN) will sponsor the 10th Philippine Management Congress to be held at the Rigodon Ballroom of the Manila Peninsula Hotel on October 17-19, 1979. The theme of the Congress is “Management in the 80’s”.

Management exports, practitioners, educators, and government leaders from the Philippines and other countries will participate as speakers, discussants and delegates. The Management Congress will explore the role of the Management with its new developments in the economy, new developments in technology, new issues, new problems and opportunities. In short, there will be new challenges for management and manager.

The Congress will enable participants to gain new insights into recent trends and development in business management and administration.

In view hereof, all heads of departments and chiefs of bureaus and offices, including government-owned or controlled corporation, are hereby enjoined to authorized attendance with expenses for conference fee and reasonable transportation allowance in the congress of selected participants or official time and not exceeding three (3) days from their respective offices.

The participants shall submit to their respective agency heads a report of their attendance with their observations and comments on the deliberations in the Congress.1aшphi1
