TO: ALL HEADS OF MINISTRIES, BUREAUS AND AGENCIES INCLUDING GOVERNMENT-OWNED AND CONTROLLED CORPORATIONS, AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS IN REGION X.
The Bukidnon Tourism Board, in line with the policy of the government to preserve and develop the culture of the various ethnic groups, in the country as part of our national identity, is sponsoring a cultural festival called “Ka-amulan” to be held on October 20-21, 1979. The theme of the “Ka-amulan” is “Unity and Understanding Through Cultural Development.”
Such cultural presentation which has been adopted by the Regional Development Council of Region X as its regional project, is to be participated in by eight (8) ethnic groups of Bukidnon and two (2) other tribes from other provinces of region 4. This festival, an annual affair started in 1977 has practically united all the ethnic groups in the region.
The regional offices of the national government, local government, and government-owned and controlled corporations in Region X are hereby directed to assist and extend support to the Bukidnon Tourism Board in connection with its project.
The Bukidnon Tourism Board is hereby authorized to raise funds through solicitations from the different government agencies and instrumentalities in Region X.1aшphi1
The Chairman of the Bukidnon Tourism Board shall submit to the Ministry of Tourism, accomplishment and evaluation reports of the cultural presentation which shall include financial statement of income and expenses duly audited by a Certified Public Accountant and a list of participants, furnishing the Ministry of the Budget with copies thereof.
