The announcement issued by this Office through radio, television and telephone, excusing from work officials and employees, whether regular, casual or contractual, of Government offices within the Metropolitan Manila Area starting at 3:00 o’clock in the afternoon of August 15, 1979, due to heavy rains and floods, except those engaged in relief, rehabilitation and rescue operations as well as communications and public utility services, including the necessary personnel of PAGASA, is hereby confirmed.1aшphi1 By authority of the President: (SGD.)
