AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE TRAVELLING CONVENTION OF THE MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH ASSOCIATION OF THE PHILIPPINES TO BE HELD JOINTLY WITH THE ASSOCIATION OF PHILIPPINE PRACTICING PHYSICIANS IN AMERICA.
The Maternal and Child Health Association of the Philippines (MCHAP) will hold its travelling convention jointly with the Association of Philippine Practicing Physicians in America in the provinces of Pangasinan, La Union, Ilocos Norte, on December 13-16, 1978, for the purpose of updating participants on varied subjects in medicine.
Heads of Ministries, bureaus and offices directly involved in maternal and child care are hereby authorized to send not, more than two (2) participants each who are members of the Association to the convention on official time with travelling and transportation allowance to and from the assembly point, per diems and a convention fee of P200.00 per participant, chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, in accordance with the provisions of Presidential Decree No. 344 dated November 26, 1973, as implemented by CCA General Circular No. 127, series of 1973, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements, as an exception to Memorandum Circular No. 593 of this Office dated August 8, 1972. Meals included in the convention fee shall be deducted from per diems.
The participants shall submit to their respective office heads a complete report on their attendance or participation in the convention as proscribed under Memorandum Circular No. 987 dated Juno 10, 1977, furnishing this Office a copy thereof.1aшphi1 Likewise, the organizer shall submit to this Office a report and evaluation of the convention, copy furnished the Ministry of the Budget, including a list of participants from the government sector indicating their respective offices.
