URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE 4TH INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF THE ASSOCIATION OF MANAGEMENT AND INDUSTRIAL INGINEERS OF THE PHILIPPINES.
The Association of Management and Industrial Engineers of the Philippines Inc. (AMILEP), will sponsor its 4th National Congress Center to be held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) Metro Manila on September 28 to 30, 1978. The theme: “Totally of Man’s Environment through Management and Industrial Engineering.”
Acknowledged leaders and practitioners in the management and industrial engineering fileds, educators, government leaders of the Philippines and other countries will participate as speakers and discussants and delegates. The Congress will reexamine the increasingly important role of management and industrial engineers in national development especially in the light of our growing emphasis on human settlements and pollution-free ecological environment with the overall objective of creating for our people a total City of Man.
The Congress will enable the participants to gain new insights into the recent trends and developments in the improvement of man’s total environment through the practice of management and industrial engineering.1aшphi1
All heads of departments and chiefs of bureaus and offices, including government-owned and controlled corporations are, therefore, enjoined the authorize attendance and expenses for conference fees and reasonable transportation allowances for the Congress of selected participants on official time but not to exceed three from such office.
The participants shall submit to their respective agency heads a report of their attendance and observations and comments in the deliberations of the Congress.
