AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE OF GOVERNMENT PERSONNEL IN THE 4TH NATIONAL CULTURAL CONFERENCE-WORKSHOP SPONSORED BY THE PHILIPPINE GOVERNMENT CULTURAL ASSOCIATION (PGCA, INC.)

The Philippine Government Cultural Association (PGCA, Inc.), an association of government ministries, bureaus, offices and agencies, including government-owned or controlled corporations, regional offices and city and provincial governments, will hold its 4th National Cultural Conference-Workshop in Metro Manila on October 4-6, 1978, on the theme: “Isang Bansa, Isang Diwa At Ang Kultura.”

The objective of this conference-workshop is to strengthen the bonds of national unity by further developing the awareness in our people of rich cultural heritage of the Filipino and that despite regional cultural deversity we have only one cultural because we are one people belonging to one nation.

All Ministries, bureaus and offices, including government-owned or controlled corporations, as well as chartered cities and provinces and regional offices are hereby authorized to send not more three (3) representatives to this conference-workshop: Provided, however, that this limitation as to the number shall not apply to conference-workshop officials and members. Participants shall be allowed reasonable expenses for transportation, subsistence, lodging and conference-workshop-fees, chargeable against the appropriation of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements. It is understood that the participants residing within the Metro Manila Area shall be entitled to transportation expenses and conference-workshop fees only.

The delegates shall submit to their respective agency heads a report on their attendance with their observations and comments on the deliberations in the conference-workshop within thirty (30) days after the termination thereof.1aшphi1
