MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Circular No. 1050, March 9, 1978 ] REQUIRING THE PURCHASE OF THE PHILIPPINE ATLAS BY DEPARTMENTS, AGENCIES, OFFICES, GOVERNMENT-OWNED OR CONTROLLED CORPORATIONS, LOCAL GOVERNMENTS, AND OTHER INSTRUMENTALITIES OF THE GOVERNMENT Pursuant to LOI No. 59, dated March 2, 1973, the Fund for Assistance to Private Education (FAPE) has completed the publication of “The Atlas of the Philippines”, the most comprehensive sourcebook on the country. 1aшphi1 In order to continue the support extended to research programs conducted by FAPE, specifically the continuous updating of the comprehensive reference material on the Philippines, the heads of agencies shall immediately set aside from their respective budgets the funding for the purchase of the number of copies shown in the attached indicative list.
