AMENDING MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 1031 DATED JANUARY 12, 1978 ON THE ATTENDANCE OF ATHLETES, OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE INTER-DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEES ATHLETIC LEAGUE (IDEAL) IN THE OPENING CEREMONIES AND TOURNAMENTS OF THE LEAGUE FOR CALENDAR YEAR 1978.
Memorandum Circular No. 1031 dated January 12, 1978 authorizing athletes, officials and employees of the Inter-Department Employee Athletic League (IDEAL) to collect necessary transportation expenses and reasonable allowances not exceeding ?35.00 a day for their actual attendance in the opening ceremonies and athlete tournaments of the league for calendar year 1978 is hereby amended such that the same privilege shall extended to the photographers and other members of the media crew of any government agency covering such events and that participating athletes, including their managers, coaches and trainers, shall also be entitled to the same expenses and all allowances for every day of practice of not exceeding two times a week for the duration of their respective athletic events, chargeable against the funds of their respective departments or offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.
