URGING GOVERNMENT AGENCIES CONCERNED TO GIVE MAXIMUM SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE TO THE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION IN THE CONDUCT OF THE 1978 CAREER SERVICE PROFESSIONAL AND SUBPROFESSIONAL-EXAMINATIONS

In line with its program of recruitment and selection, the Civil Service Commission will administer on June 18, 1978 in Regions I-XII the Career Service Professional and Subprofessional examinations.

The Department of National Defense, through the Office of the Undersecretary for Civilian Relations, the Philippine Constabulary, the Philippine Airforce, the Philippine Navy, the National Police Commission, the National Intelligence and Security Authority, and the National Computer Center shall provide full support and security in the preparations for the administration of the examinations throughout the country. For smooth and effective administration of these examinations, the support and assistance of the following agencies are also hereby requested;

The National Media Production Center, the Bureau of Telecommunications, and the Philippine National Railways are called upon to, extend maximum support and assistance relative to the dissemination of essential information on the holding of the examinations, the utilization of communication facilities throughout the country, and in the transport of personnel and examination materials, respectively.

The Commissioner of Customs is requested to exempt from ordinary inspection all classified materials pertinent to the Career Service Professional and Sub-professional examinations.

The Administrator of Civil Aeronautics is requested to give adequate assistance and support in the transportation of personnel and materials from the Civil Service Commission to the examination centers which are serviced by air transportation.

The Secretary of Education and Culture, the Secretary of Finance, the Chairman of the Commission on Audit, and the Secretary of Local Government and Community Development, whose representatives may be designated by the Chairman or the Regional Director of the Commission, to compose the regional central examination committee or the local civil service Examination committee to be established in provincial/city capitals where the examinations are going to be held, are requested to extend maximum support, and assistance in all matters relative to the conduct and administration of the examinations.
