[ Memorandum Circular No. 1032, January 13, 1978 ]

URGING GOVERNMENT AGENCIES CONCERNED TO GIVE MAXIMUM SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE TO THE NATIONAL BOARD FOR TEACHERS IN CONNECTION WITH THE CONDUCT OF THE FIRST PROFESSIONAL BOARD EXAMINATION FOR TEACHERS.

WHEREAS, the National Board for Teachers and the National Educational Testing Center, through the Department of Education and Culture (DEC) and the Civil Service Commission (CSC), is charged with the duty of administering the First Professional Board Examination for Teachers required of all persons who shall engage in teaching, whether in the Public or Private Elementary or Secondary School to pass the said examination, as provided under Presidential Decree No. 1006 dated September 22, 1976;

WHEREAS, the First Professional Board Examination, for Teachers is scheduled to be given on April 2, 1878 in 46 examination centers throughout the country to about 200,000 examinees;

WHEREFORE, the Department of National Defense (DND), the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), the National Intelligence and Security Authority (NISA) and the Integrated National Police (IMP), are hereby tasked to extend maximum support and assistance to the DEC and CSC to ensure full security and smooth administration of the First Professional Board Examination for Teachers all over the counry.1aшphi1

The Department of Public Information (DPI), the National Media Production Center (NMPC), and the National Computer Center (NCC) are likewise enjoined to extend maximum support and assistance relative to the dissemination of essential information pertaining t the holding of the examination, the utilization of communication facilities throughout the country, and in the computer processing of the test results, respectively.
