AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON INTEGRATED SURVEYS IN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT.

The Human Settlement Commission, the Technology Resources Center and the Institute for Aerial Survey and Earth Sciences (ITO-Netherland based institution) will jointly sponsor an International Symposium on Integrated Survey in Resource Management in Manila on February 22-28, 1978. The Symposium will consider resource management problems of the Philippines, in particular and the Third World, in general.

All heads or departments, chiefs of bureaus and offices, including government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby authorized to send not more than one (1) participant each, preferably a senior official involved in development planning, resource management and surveying, to the symposium on official time with reasonable expenses for transportation, per diems and conference fees, in accordance with the provisions of Presidential Decree No. 344 dated November 26, 1973, as implemented by COA General Circular No. 127, series of 1973 chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements, as an exception to Memorandum Circular No. 593 of this Office dated August 8, 1972.1aшphi1 Participants residing or stationed within the Greater Manila Area shall be entitled to reasonable expenses for transportation and conference fees only.

The participants shall submit to their respective office heads a complete report in their attendance or participation in the symposium as prescribed under Memorandum Circular No. 987 dated June 10, 1977, furnishing this Office a copy thereof.1aшphi1
